GDPR-COMPLIANT WITH eGECKO
Since 25 May 2018, the new General Data Protection Regulation of the EU (GDPR) has also been applied in Germany.
With eGECKO you are well prepared for it!
„In the same way as we proceeded with the SEPA changeover in 2014, we made intensive use of the two-year transition period to make our eGECKO business software DSGVO-compliant in all respects.“
Michael Friemel | CEO | CSS AG
All software-relevant legal provisions on data protection are implemented in eGECKO.
eGECKO supports the user with a search option via various entry points, e.g. according to criteria such as employee, AR/AP accounts or business partner, and unite these to a full information package. The templates and reports can be adapted to specific applications according to individual requirements. You can also enter the saving purpose and the deletion periods, there is an information pool for further downstream data recipients and you can take down which information about a concerned party was provided.
In eGECKO, all personal data can be processed manually in order to meet the requirement for accuracy of the data and immediate rectification.
The deletion options in eGECKO distinguish between deleting old business years, deleting transaction data after the legal retention periods have expired and deleting personal data. The obligation to delete personal data which must not be deleted due to its structural dependence is fulfilled, among others, by modifying data records in a way that persons are no longer identifiable. The data is then anonymised so that it can be stored for required analyses.
eGECKO offers various methods to limit processing of personal data, for example, to temporarily block selected data. The user has two options for implementing individual blocking concepts according to company-specific requirements. The individual user concept together with access protection allows individual users or employee groups to be granted or denied access to personal data. Moreover, even single data records can be blocked or kept active.
The requirement to receive personal data in a structured, common and machine-readable format and to make this data available to another responsible person without any restrictions is fulfilled in eGECKO via XML interface/output.
With the GDPRplus module you can use convenience functions with which you can fulfil all GDPR requirements quickly and according to individual demands.
The templates and reports can be adapted to the specific application according to individual requirements, both for the entire eGECKO application and for specific, individual data records.
This also covers all requirements for Privacy by Design und Privacy by Default.
